Ahmed AlGhanem, born in Barbar, Bahrain, in 1970, is an accomplished flutist and music educator. He pursued his musical studies at the Cairo Conservatory from 1988 to 1996 and has performed extensively in Bahrain and internationally. His notable performances include collaborations with UNESCO in Havana, Cuba. Ahmed further honed his craft through advanced flute courses in London and has shared the stage with renowned musicians such as Marcel Khalife and Wissam Boustany in Bahrain, Cairo, and Switzerland.

In 2004, Ahmed became a member of the Bahrain International Music Festival, and in 2005, he took on the role of Coordinator for the festival. His career as a music educator includes a decade of teaching at a Bahrain school, followed by his appointment as Head of the Music Department in the Directorate of Art and Culture for the Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities (Ministry of Culture), a position he held from 2005 to 2018.

In November 2016, Ahmed embarked on a tour in Norway at the invitation of Freemuse, participating in music workshops with various artists. He also performed in several cultural and historical venues, including the iconic Tromsø Cathedral (Tromsø domkirke), leaving a lasting impression on the local cultural scene.
